- Phish announces four-night webcast for 2012-2013 New Years run.
Phish has done this webcast for two years in a row and both years I've purchased all four webcasts and enjoyed them immensely. I suspect this year that the tradition of this purchase won't be changing. The quality of the webcast is superb (glorious HD) and features a 10 camera system with the sound piped in right from the soundboard at amazing clarity. So that being said, if you need to reach me around New Years I will officially be on what is known affectionately to Phish fans as 'couch tour'.

- Google's Nexus One phone considered a flop due to lagging sales.
Turns out that the Google has only moved about 135,000 of these units. This is staggering when you take into account that Apple had already sold a million iPhones by the same time in that product's life cycle.

- Windows 7 more popular than Harry Potter in regards to pre-order sales.
The OS immediately put Windows Vista to shame, selling more copies on Amazon in its first eight hours than Vista did in its entire pre-order period. In the last three months, the only currently available products to beat Windows 7 were Dan Brown novels.

- Merry Pre-order
The real irony is that Santa actually pulled it off that year in terms of Wii deliverance. And by Santa I mean me. And by me I really mean that I waited outside of Toy's R Us at four in the morning to get the Wii. Bonus: my Mom came with me and we played each other at Tetris on two Nintendo DS's. Bonus bonus: I am thirty years old.
